Lillian E. Oglesby was born on October 12, 1955 the fourth child of Cora Oglesby and the late Edward Oglesby. She went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2022.
Lillian who was affectionately and lovingly known as Lillie attended the Camden City Public School System. She later worked for the Camden City Board of Education where she gained the nickname Miss O. She also worked in the Casino’s in Atlantic City. She had such a good, and loving relationship with the kids and the people of the community.
She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by Her children the late Terrill Oglesby & Alexis Oglesby, and sister Cora Oglesby-Browman.
She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter Ikea Oglesby-McCants with two granddaughters
Tanaisha Oglesby– Bookers, & Yajiyah McCants, and One grandson Deshawn Oglesby dedicated siblings, Marian Wallace, Edna Smith, Barbara-Jean Irving, Jessie Oglesby, Alice Draper, and Sibbie Davis. With a host of many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
