Obituary of Marcy D Smith

Marcy Darnell Smith was born on May 24, 1977, in Camden, NJ. He continued to reside in North Camden throughout his adulthood. Marcy attended Camden Public School System and worked various jobs using his many trade skills. He was always the one to call if your car needed to be fixed or a handy man around the house. No job was too big for him. Since a young boy, Marcy was genuinely loved by everyone he crossed paths with as proven by his many friends. But he was most loved by his adoring mother who loved him beyond measure. Marcy has made a special impact in many people’s hearts because of his charismatic personality and infectious laughter. He was the absolute best uncle to all his nieces and nephews. They all counted on him to show them a good time and great lasting memories. Marcy was a reliable brother, cousin, friend, and neighbor. He had love in abundance and shared it freely. He will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Marcy leaves behind his mother and father, Darnell and Kevin Johnson, his biological father, Marcelino Rivera; his siblings: Evangelina, Ivory, Ebony, Lovell, Tiana, Arlene, Sarah, and Salina; his favorite nieces and nephews: Shanteara, Dontae Jr., Aronday, Isaiah, Savannah, Trinity, Aniya, Josiah, Marcus Jr., and Major; Bridgette, Kcassy, Egypt, Kairi, Heaven, Kabryn a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and many caring friends. He will truly be missed and in our hearts forever.
