Marita Elaine (Moseley) Coston was born October 30, 1950, at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was born to the union of Eva and the late Jack B. Moseley Sr. She was the eldest in a family of five siblings, three girls and two boys. Marita was a graduate of John Bartram High School, Class of 1968. After High school, she worked for Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company for several years. Later, she worked for Child Care Information Services for the South, West and North District. She worked in that capacity until her retirement. Marita was hard-working and dependable, with a passion for helping people. Marita was converted to Christianity at an early age under the guidance and teaching of the late Bishop Reo Jenkins, her grandmother. Her walk with Christ continued with the formation of Cathedral of Faith Church of the Living God, where she served faithfully under the late Bishop Reo Jenkins, the late Bishop Leila Avent, and now current pastor, Bishop Doris Ford. She was a dedicated Choir member, Prayer Band President, Usher Board President, Flower Club President, Financial Secretary and many other boards and auxiliaries. Marita met and later married Kenneth Coston in November of 1970. To this union one son was born the late Kenneth Jejuan Coston, who preceded her in death on November 14, 1987. God blessed her to have another loving Son, Stephen Dean Levine, who she cherished until she departed this life. She even got him hooked on watching the Soap Operas with her. Stephen loved and cared for his mom. He honored her last request and was at her bedside when she took her last breath. Marita loved shopping and she was called Miss QVC. Marita loved spending time with her family, especially her great nieces and nephew. she could not walk in the house without bringing them gifts or fruit snacks. Marita was small in stature, but had a large and caring heart. Marita had a nickname, “Tubby” which she only allowed her brother Ray the privilege to call her, when no one else could. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Stephen, her Mother Eva Moseley, two Brothers; Jack Jr.(Ray) and Brian; two Sisters; Pamela and Robin; one Brother-In-Law, Timothy. Three Nephews; Marcus, Robert and Donavan; four Nieces; Megan, Kya, Brianna and Jazmyne; one Niece-In-Law, Victoria.
