Obituary of Christine Ackley

We are gathered here to celebrate the life of Christine Ackley. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and grandmother. Christine Ackley 66, of Vineland NJ, accepted the Lord's hand to go home on July 25, 2022. She was born on March 30, 1956, in Newfield NJ to the late Mrs. Delores (Harris) and Mr. Isaac McFarland Sr. Christine got married to Walter A. Ackley on March 7, 1945, in Franklin township. They have been married for 47 years. She is a graduate of Delsea Regional High School where she successfully received her diploma. Christine worked at Bradlees department store in Cumberland mall and at National Glass in Newfield NJ. Christine enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking, going to the casino and watching her favorite sci-fi tv shows. She loved being around her grand and great-grandchildren. Christine also enjoyed spending time with her sisters and brothers and many other family members. Christine is survived by her husband Walter A. Ackley of Delaware; 2 daughters Christie Mae Ackley (Elijah "Jr") of Georgia and Tammy J. Ackley (David) of Vineland; 2 sons Walter Phillip Ackley of Vineland and Ricky Bruce Ackley of Texas; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; a host of sisters and brothers; also, many loving family members and friends. In loving memory of Christine Ackley, she will always be in our hearts and greatly missed.
