Obituary of Isaiah A Shaw

Celebrating the Life of Isaiah A. Shaw Isaiah A. Shaw, was born September 13, 1999, Voorhees New Jersey. He was the son of Alton and Pamela Shaw. He received his High School Diploma from Winslow Township High School in 2018. Isaiah was a member of the track & field, baseball and football High School teams. Isaiah was selected to NJ all state and all conference teams in both baseball and football. Isaiah still holds the all time record of 1,078 receiving yard at Winslow Township High school football team. After high school Isaiah attended Wesley College in Dover Delaware on a partial scholarship studying sport management and playing for their Division 3 men’s football team. Isaiah was presently contracting for Safe Haven Security, where he installed hardware & software security cameras for private residential customers throughout New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania. Isaiah’s prime passion was music, where he was better known as DJ Zay or just plain Zay. In 2020 Isaiah, created his very own music label named “Colossal Records” where he was co CEO, beat maker and producer. Isaiah, help produce music beats for several up and coming NJ based hip hop artist. Isaiah also used his talents to start developing small movie music scores for one of Philly’s best new young move directors. Finally, Isaiah established a small clothing line of sweatshirts, tee shirts and hats as a way to promote his entertainment label while also helping to give back to the community that he grew up in. But most importantly Isaiah was a member of St Matthews Baptist Church where he gave his life to Christ on July 16th,2006. He understood the meaning of having a spiritual foundation at a very early age. He participated in one of south jersey’s greatest youth program at St Matthews Baptist church, where he was able to interact with youth his own age, while still learning more about the wonders of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and his amazing gifts to us all. On Friday September 30, 2022, Isaiah was an innocent victim of a senseless act of gun violence. However, at that moment the Lord Jesus Christ was waiting to receive him faster than a twinkle of your eye. Isaiah is survived by his parents Alton and Pamela Shaw of Atco NJ; his sister Alyssa Shaw also of Atco. He also leaves (five) lovely aunts - Melonease Shaw, Leonetta Shaw, Cheryl Shaw, Joyce Shaw and Valerie (Greg) Shaw Witherspoon, (two) Uncles – Ralph (Angie) Jackson, Cece Lewis and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
