Obituary of Donna Marine

Donna Rae (Lenhart) Marine, 77, of Burlington, New Jersey, passed away October 9, 2022 due to complications from Parkinson’s disease. Donna was born on March 23, 1945 to Ray and Pauline Lenhart in Clarksburg, West Virginia. After graduating from Hudson (Ohio) High School in 1963, she went on to get her Licensed Practical Nurse degree and worked hospital trauma units and emergency rooms in Ohio and New Jersey. Taking two decades off to raise her family, she returned to get her Registered Nurse degree in 1992 and continued her legacy of hospital trauma patient care. Donna was a talented, loving person who was generous with her time to all those in her life. She loved to laugh and entertain. Apart from her family, flowers, music, and dancing were the things that brought joy to her life. She is preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Roger and Ronald. She is survived by her current husband, Benjamin Marine; her son, Garrett Chandler; her four grandchildren, Garrett, Madeleine, Hayley, and Mitchell Chandler; her stepson, Greg Shikitino; her stepdaughter, Marybeth Dolan; and her sister, Kathy Thompson. There are no events planned, as she did not wish to have services. In lieu of flowers, a donation in her honor may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or the Parkinson’s Foundation.
