I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. II Timothy 4:7,8 Annie Lewis Williams, affectively known as “Ann” was called to her heavenly home on early Sunday morning, November 20, 2022, after a long illness. Annie was born in Hartsville, Darlington County, South Carolina, on August 27, 1934, to the late Robert and Charlotte Myers Lewis. She received her education in the public schools of Darlington, South Carolina. Annie relocated to Philadelphia, PA, where she attended business school. Annie was married to the late Lester Williams for over thirty-two years. Annie was employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, where she worked in the Cashier Department. She retired after thirty years of government service. Annie had one sibling and two brother in laws who preceded her in death, her sister Elizabeth Lewis Cleveland, and two brother in laws, Clyde M. Cleveland, Jr. and Richard Henderson. Annie was a free-spirited woman of God. She was one of God’s faithful and prayerful servants. Annie enjoyed spending time with her family, and friends. Annie enjoyed traveling and meeting new people, and people always fell in love with her everywhere she went. She was always willing to lend a hand wherever she was needed in the church and the community.
