I met Michael and his family when he was around 7 years old. he was so respectful and he could see you standing there and even though he didn’t know you he would say hi or if you wanted to go play. he was one of a kind always put other before himself. you could both need something and he would give to you first and then him. he made people happy he was the light of a room. you could be sad and going through it and he would know how to make you laugh. with a single joke of his he could light up your day. a memory to share of him is something i never thought i would do. but anyways i remember this one time while we were preparing for my quinceañera and we were getting ready to learn the surprise dance one of them being a cumbia. michael was scared he was gonna mess it up so he would tell my mom to teach him but he couldn’t catch up because my mom danced fast. one night i had received a message of him and it was a video of him and his cousin dancing to a cumbia and he had gotten the hang of it and he was so excited that he said now imma go dance with your mom cause i know how to dance fast and i told him yea and i was excited for him. that’s one of the many memories i have of him. I wish i would’ve had more time to be able to show you the pictures and video because that way you can see how good you did. I wish we would have been able to have more time with him to be able to make more memories. those who were able to meet him are fortunate and those we weren’t you would’ve loved him. he was like my best friend and i never thought someone would be able to fill that spot but he did and no one can ever take that spot away from him. His friends and family all miss him and the memories i have of him i’ll cherish forever and the ones he made with my family too.he was taken too soon from us but i know that this isn’t a good bye this is a see you later. Rest Easy Michael in our hearts forever till we meet again.

I met Michael through kathya and joanna. First time I ever seen him was at kathya house because we celebrated her birthday. Michael had went with his other friends. They knew me from instagram and him and his friends were like “is that Karen” I found it funny because nobody really knew me like that. I knew them from instagram too but never really got to talk to them. Eventually I started talking to Michael and his friends and we got close at one point. Michael would always put a smile on your face and he was very funny and kind. Every time I would see Michael he would make fun of me and say “your still short” it was pretty funny to me because yes I was still short. He will also FaceTime out of nowhere and I would answer and his we would talk. One of the funniest memory I have is when Mario, Bryan, and Michael were live on instagram and they would all just make fun of themselves and expose themselves and I would join and make it even funnier by exposing them with stuff that I knew. Michael loved dressing as a vaquero to parties. Forever my favorite vaquerito. Asta el cielo compa michael.

I met Michael at school through my best friend. We had many laughs, jokes, and good memories at lunch when he sat with us. Eventually, we became really good friends. Michael had this amazing ability to make the people around him forget their problems. I never told him but, sophomore year was one of the worse years of my life. I had tons of stuff going on behind the scenes but him just being there really did make a difference. If I went down the list of every moment he brightened my mood unknowingly, it’d be dozens of pages long. I’m forever grateful.
