My name is Lisa Hopkins. I just read the lovely tribute to John T. Bullock, Jr. and I’m sitting here wondering if this is my Uncle John T. Bullock’s son who happened to be a retired police officer as well in Philadelphia. I am saddened if this happens to be my family member. He has a son who is a police officer in Philly as well. Can someone please call me at 475-224-9072 in CT? I need to reach the son ASAP to see if this is my father’s nephew that passed away.

To the family of John T. Bullock Jr. my brother, my dear friend. I have wondered why I had not heard from him. We have heavy hearts to learn of John’s passing. We often joked about being born around the same time in Hahnemann Hospital. We grew up in Second Pilgrim B C We sang and ushered together. We remained friends as adults, living in the same Mt. Airy area, both working in West Phila. He and my husband were police officers. We kept in touch sharing our stories of family, work, trials and blessings! He loved his son. He was a wonderful person with a great caring heart. John probably knew more about me and I him than anyone else. Regrettably we didn’t talk much, just texted infrequently in our late years wishing him a happy 75th bd. My apologies and sincere condolences to John’s family. I wish I could have said so long to a genuine friend. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you. Much love. God bless Rest In Peace.
