Obituary, Junior Dilet Moreland On Friday, January 27, 2023, the Lord, our Savior called Junior Dilet Moreland home for his final resting. Junior was born on August 19, 1946, in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Zellean and Henry Moreland. While in Trenton, he met his best friend and devoted wife of 55 years, Gloria Jean Moreland. They married in Trenton, New Jersey and shortly afterwards relocated to Willingboro, New Jersey to raise their family. Junior received his formal education in the City of Trenton School System being a graduate of Trenton Central High School. After graduation, Junior went on to work at Trenton State College in Ewing, New Jersey as a Cook and then later working at Fairless Hill Steel Mill in Fairless, Pennsylvania. Junior also worked at Coca-Cola Warehouse in Moorestown, Nj where he worked until retirement. Junior was a member of Galilee Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey where he sung on the Bagley Echoes choir with his late wife Gloria. He and his wife were very involved in countless programs for the children, organizing the Annual Valentine’s Day Tea, barbeque film nights at the church, just really fun family-oriented events. Junior is survived by his loving children, Horace A. Peebles (Christine Peebles, daughter-in-law), Vicki Lynette Moreland, Gloria Lynn Turner (Boo)(Lamonte E Turner, son-in-law) Junior Dilet Moreland, Jr. and Kerry Moreland Sr. (Josephine F. Moreland, daughter in-law). Survived by siblings Hazel Bloom of Lawrenceville Township, Audrey Mohamad of Trenton, NJ, Ellice WIlson of Trenton, NJ and Christine Moreland of Winston Salem, NC; and one brother Douglas Moreland of Trenton, NJ. Grandchildren, Michael Dilet Moreland (Cheniece Moreland) Taylor Kaitlyn Turner, Brandon LaMar Moreland, Amber Nicolle Turner, Kerry Anthon Moreland, II, Joshua Dilet Moreland, Horace Allen Peebles, Jr. (AJ), Andre’ Peebles, Avery Peebles, Jesten Peebles, (Crystine Peebles) and his two great grandchildren, Alizah Rae Moreland and Protagonist Peebles. Special family friends. Laura Lafelice and family, Benjamin Demous and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Junior was preceded in life by his loving wife Gloria J. Moreland, parents and four siblings, Ruby White, Delores Ross, Leroy White and Walter Moreland. Sorrowfully Submitted The Family
