Obituary of Marcia Mimms

Marcia’s Life Journey Marcia Mimms affectionately known as “Marcy” was born to Elaine and James Mimms on March 31, 1964 in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her loving brothers Darrelle Mimms and Todd Goldsmith. Marcy was educated in the Philadelphia Public School system and graduated from South Philadelphia High School. Marcy accepted Jesus Christ as her lord and savior and attended The Church Of Redeemer in South Philly. Marcy’s passion was caring for children and she worked for years in the child care services industry. One of her greatest loves was spending time with her grandchildren. Marcy’s Legacy will live on in the memories of: her parents Elaine and James Mimms; Step-Father Kyle Slaughter; Sister Felicia “Lisa” Freeman; Children – Prince Shareef Hill, Darrelle W.
