Q: What will you miss most about Larry?
A: That smile no matter how difficult the assignment would become. Saving our members jobs were the tasks. Not an easy assignment. Larry would assure me we could do it smile and push me forward. Then he ask, what are you baking this week?

To the family of Larry Blake,
“Blake” as we called him at Caring Cramer, was a kind, energetic, and dedicated teacher. As the Whole School Facilitator, I found that Blake was willing to try any new program that would help his students to succeed. He would make the new programs his own and adjust them until he saw great results. I never saw him angry at anyone and he always kept a smile on his face. Cramer loved Blake because he set the bar high not just the students in his class, but for the entire school. God Bless

Q: What will you never forget about Larry?
A: I will never forget all the laughs that Larry and I have shared over the years. Larry’s laughter was contagious; his smile lit up a room. Larry had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. He was able to bring peace to a stressful situation and light to a dreary day. Larry has always provided me with so much love and encouragement over the years and I will never forget how he would periodically reach out to me just to make sure I was ok. Larry made me a better person and I am grateful I was able to call him friend!

Little Larry sleep on and take your well-deserved rest. God places people in our lives that make impressions we never forget. The impression you’ve made in our lives shall keep your cherished memory alive!
To our fellow family members, God has promised never to leave us nor forsake us, he knows the pain we share and the sorrow, but earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot bare.
The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you And give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26

Sending my condolences to the Blake family. I'm going miss him yelling JONESSSS when ever he would see me and then I would respond Blakeeee. It didn't matter if we were at a meeting, conference, workshop, and especially at convention. He would start the yell and it would always end with him laughing. My little, big brother was so funny and his laugh was so contagious that you couldn't help but laugh with him. Thank you to the Blake family for sharing Larry with us.

Sorry to hear this sad news. I would see Larry walking his daughters around Wilton’s Corner Sicklerville and we recently chatted at R Barbershop. I know he served many communities including Camden and Sicklerville as a teacher/educator, school board member, mentor, etc. My condolences to his family and friends

As an NJEA staffer, I had the wonderful opportunity to get to know Larry when he was an apprentice, and then after that, I saw him everywhere. I loved his smile and his enthusiasm for advocacy. He was the kind of man who should have worn a cape, if there was one. His passion and fire for advocacy work inspired and started the spark in so many others. He will be greatly missed.

Q: How did you meet Larry?
A: I met Larry Franklin Blake II the Summer of 95’ at Rowan University EOF Map program. We were kids learning & growing into adulthood. Our spirits connected and our bond grew daily. We were inseparable! We shared everything from goals, dreams, refund check monies, food, pledging sorority and fraternity stories, papers, lesson plans to adversities, love stories, dieting plans, how we would always support each other in our old age, just to name a few. We talked everyday while we each drove to our prospective schools in which we served. Larry has impacted my life in so many ways and his legacy will on ~ until we meet again ~ best friends forever!

Larry was a very kind and generous man. I worked with Larry at Sharp and Vets and he was always there if you had a problem. He was easy to talk to and listened before he spoke.
As a fellow believer in our Lord Jesus Christ I know we will see Larry again. The Lord tells us to comfort each other with these words. The Blake family is in my prayers.
