Obituary of Yvonne Rose

7.26.61 Sunrise --- 3.20.23 Sunset Yvonne Rose was born to the Elizabeth Rose and Arthur Gallman on July 26, 1961. She was educated in the Philadelphia Public School System. As a young girl, Yvonne was raised in the church and was faithful in attending. She loved the Lord and reading her bible. Yvonne played the violin, won trophies in volleyball and won best female skater at the Great Skates Roller Rink. She also had a very nice penmanship. After Yvonne graduated from South Philadelphia High in 1979, she went on to further her education. She was a very hard worker and worked as a Section 8 Representative then led to her promotion as 911 Dispatcher/Supervisor for the Philadelphia Housing Authority for many years. Yvonne Rose met Dean Chaplin and produced the beautiful and lovely daughter, Deanna Chaplin. Yvonne was funny, energetic, loud, down to earth and a whole a lot of fun.. She was often teased because she walked so fast. You can start out walking with her but shortly, she going to leave you behind, 1 block at a time just ask her best friend Lorraine Everett-Haines. Yvonne was retired and spent her time enjoying her grandchildren, cooking and reading the bible. Yvonne was truly the best of all the rest and sorrowfully missed. Yvonne is survived by her only daughter Deanna Chaplin, son-in-law Mark (4) grandchildren, Christian, Victoria, Cynthia and Miguel, (4) sisters Theresa, Olivia, Vonelee and Stephanie, (2) brothers Arthur and Willie, 1 god-son Antwan, a host of cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews and friends.
