Obituary of Ralph L Robinson

Ralph Leon Robinson Sr. passed away peacefully on April 12, 2023. He was 86 years old. Ralph was born in Arlington, Georgia on January 15, 1937. He was the son of the late Annie Pearl Robinson. He graduated from Monroe High School in Albany Georgia. He became a Cadet in the U.S. Army R.O.T.C. for three years while he attended Florida A&M University where he received his Bachelor of Arts. He was employed at Mrs. Paul’s food industry. He then went on to OIC (Opportunity Industrial Center) and worked as an accountant for 40+ years. He met and married the love of his life, Melva Irving. From this union, they had four children. He attended Zion Baptist Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he served as a Deacon and as the Treasurer. He enjoyed hunting, traveling, and spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his wife, Melva Robinson of 60 years, brother Melvin George, and grandson Riley Robinson. Ralph leaves to cherish his loving memories of his children, Ralph Jr, Gwenevere Ren’ae (Billy), Malcolm V., Valerie Karen (Calvin). Grandchildren Phillip C., Alexandra (Myron), Kayla Lauren, Brandon Elijah, Samaya, and one great grandchild Jada Leilani. Two sisters, Alma, Artexas, one sister-in-law Lula George and a host of relatives, family, and friends. 2
