She was the fourth child of nine children born to late Minister James Kellam and late Helen A Kellam . Ruth Clayton was an educated Clayton Public School System. She had a great love for cooking, especially reading her bible daily- she also loved to watch her favorite tv shows and movies like Sanford Son, The Jeffersons, and The Grizzly Bear. Ruth Clayton was also a hard worker all of life. She was a CNA & worked in Lawson Hotel in Harrisburg PA. Ruth Clayton had a devoted prayer life with the lord. Ruth Clayton will always be remembered for her unselfish acts of love and affection towards her family and others. Ruth Clayton leaves to cherish her memories with children daughter Helena Snowden (Tyrone Snowden) of Sicklerville, Rosemary Snowden (Larry Snowden) of Willingboro, NJ, Betty Chyna Clayton (Anthony Jones) of Pennsauken NJ, Jose Clayton (Mechelle Hughes) of Camden, Nj, and the late Willie James Clayton (Poppy). A host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews, two brothers Charles Kellam of Harrisburg PA, Solomon Kellam (Lisa Kellam) of Lindenwold, two sisters Lucille Bell of Sicklerville , Mary Chrisholm (Melvin Chrisholm) of Harrisburg PA. She was preceded in death by her brothers Minister Joseph Kellam, James “Jimmy” Kellam, Pleasant “Sissy” Kellam, Lavania ”Penny” Kellam.
