In this time of sorrow, may we find inner peace in remembering Aunt JoAnn’s unyielding love and kindness towards all; her faith served as an indomitable beacon lighting our paths. Her optimism inspired us, making life's storms bearable. She has left her bodily pain behind, advancing to a place of eternal tranquility. The beautiful tapestry of her memory will eternally remain woven into the fabric of our hearts. We cherished her deeply; she will be missed but never forgotten.

Mom you gave me, Tee, Chris, Mark and Shawn all the LOVE and wisdom we would need throughout our adult lives but I'm most grateful for introducing us all to the saving Grace of Jesus Christ, you gave me my first bible that I remember reading to you after school, you have left your mark on my heart I'm the man I am today because of you, I'll LOVE you for ever mom and miss our talks and just hanging out.

JoAnn,
From the moment I met you, through my wife, you welcomed me with open arms as your friend as well. You were always so sweet and caring. This world needs more people like you. You will be greatly missed, but my great memories of you will live on. Rest easy.

Rodney and Family,
My prayers are with you and your family as you walk the last mile with Sis. JoAnn. I can remember the day that she joined Townsley Chapel with that great big smile. She was a willing worker for Christ. She served faithfully on the Senior Usher Board until she left and went home with her daughter. Remember that the Bible says, "Weeping may endure for the Night, but joy cometh in the morning." Be blessed for your mother will be missed.

Dearest JoAnn,
As they say, time flies. It just does not seem as though 27 years has passed since we became friends. Your friendship was not only a gift but an honor, and something that I will treasure forever. You were a compassionate listener and a teacher of our Lord and Savior. I thoroughly enjoyed our many conversations and fun times of going places and dining out. As I reflect on the years of friendship, a flood of emotions washes over me. Although you left us, your spirit and great memories will always remain. Your legacy is of love and compassion for others, as well as your inner strength and goodness that was from your heart.
Rest peacefully, sweet JoAnn. Until we meet again we will all hold you close to our hearts and keep your memory alive.

Joanne, I thank God for the times we had together. You were an inspiration to the Mt. Olive Gosplaires . Your service for God was given from the heart and you gave your all. I loved you but God loved you best. Forever in my heart. Good night and I shall see you in the morning over in Glory land.

Sis. JoAnn, my husband and myself all attended Grace Bible Institute together in Voorhees, NJ. She always had a word of encouragement. She loved our study the Word of God. Oh how the scriptures were opened up to us, by way of the Holy Spirit! We also were members of Mt. Olive Baptist Church together and I thank God the way He was growing us in His Word, oh what a time of blessedness. Praise God for Sis. Stockman's relationship with the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, that assure her to rest in His perfect peace when her labor here on this earth is done. Rest well with Jesus Sis. Stockman and receive your reward.

Thank you Sis, for taking me on my first Cruise. We had a wonderful time until we ran into a storm and you kept telling me to get back from port hole, because I wanted to see everything that was happening. Well we made it through the storm and the next morning sat on the bed laughing and talking about our ordeal. You are now in God's house where everything is calm and you are enjoying being a part of that choir that you told us about a week before your Transition. Rest in peace Stockman, as I always affectionally called you.
Your Sis,
Veronica
