Obituary of Barbara Ann Garrett

Barbara Ann Garrett, affectionately known as Big Barb, was born on March 11th, 1964, to Matthew Garrett and Joyce Hill. Born in Salem County and raised in Penns Grove, she graduated from The Penns Grove High School in June of 1982. Too soon, on September 8th, 2023, at 59 years old, she passed away peacefully in her sleep. Barbara was a beautiful woman with a big personality and a big heart. She loved her family and her friends, and she loved life. Barbara stayed on the move. She made it a point to spend as much time with people as she could. If she couldn't, she made time to talk to you on the phone or FaceTime. She did little things to let you know she loved you and cared. For example, if you've ever asked her to cook, and she said yes, consider yourself blessed because everything she made was made with love. Barbara is survived by her father and mother Matthew & Shirley Garrett, her 2 sons Kennard Mosley III & Kristopher Solomon, 2 daughters Kwana Lloyd & Zhanee Solomon, son-in-law Daryll Lloyd, 5 grandchildren Kyiara Polk, Kayla Polk, Ana-Unique Mosley, Yazmine Bates, and Kennard Mosley IV, brother Matthew Garrett Jr., 2 sisters Theresa & Christina Garrett, and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
