The Life of Frances E. Lowe
Frances E. Lowe was born to Pedro and Betty Gacutan on November 2, 1940. Frances graduated from Moorestown High School and later attended Glassboro State College (now Rowan University).
Frances married Benjamin Hunt, Jr. in January 1959 and together they had five children, Dwan, Lance, Tammy, Benjamin III, and Troy. Frances was a dedicated wife and mother. Her strength and perseverance kept her as a widowed mother through to the next chapter of her life when she became the devoted wife to her husband of over 25 years, Patrick Lowe.
Frances was an elegant, smart, kind-spoken, sweet, and loving woman, who was always ready to lend a helping hand. In many instances she was the surrogate mom to both family members and those in the neighborhood. Her cooking was second to none, along with her love for creating fun for her family for the creation of many of the memories that will sustain us.
Frances was very active and had many hobbies throughout the years. They included bowling, tennis, roller skating, motorcycle riding, karate, dancing (the Bop specifically), playing cards, and sewing. Her newest hobby was her cell phone, which she loved getting Taylor’s tutorials.
Above all else, Frances loved God and it was evident in her love for people!
Frances truly left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. She will be missed, but in no way forgotten.
She is survived by her four sons and one daughter-in-law, Dwan Hunt, Lance Hunt, Benjamin Hunt III (Tracee), and Troy Hunt, three siblings, Pedro Gacutan, Winston Gacutan, and Buelah Goodwater, eleven grandchildren, Albert, Troy, Alan, Amber, Dominique, Lance, Benjamin IV, Dawan, Taylor, Janai, Kailyn, and a host of nieces, nephews, great grandchildren, cousins, and friends.
Her loving husband Patrick Lowe and her precious daughter Tammy Hunt both preceded her in death in July 2015 and December 2019, respectively.
