One thing my Dad had was a giving spirit. And he was always talked about believing in your dreams, staying in the word, trusting God, and keeping the faith. A favorite memory of mine is when he took me on a trip around Philly and he surprised me as we visited Lower Merion High School just to allow me to drive by where my favorite basketball player went to high school. He didn’t have to do that but it just shows where his heart was and the little things he’d do for his family and to see his son smile. Going to miss our calls with our sports and life talks. I always enjoy when people talk about my Dad because it shows just how he was a good man with a good heart. I’m proud to be your son and a Gadson man. Rest well Dad!
Love you!
Bryan

May you rest in peace Uncle Bobby. I remember you lighting up the room when you entered, with that warm smile! I'm praying for our family that God will bottle our tears and comfort our hearts.

I worked with Bob at Horizon BCBS of NJ. He was the coolest, smoothest man I'd ever met. He must have been from the Billy Dee era because he was dapper and debonair like him. He always had a great story and joke to share. I have fond memories of hearing stories about his family, church and his travel over the years. I looked forward to seeing him in his suits daily and pulling up to the office in his black Chrysler 300. He loved that car and kept it clean clean! When I moved to Florida in 2018 he called me and then we touched based monthly. You don't often meet folks like Bob. He will surely be missed. I thank God for having met him and adding such fond memories to my memory bank. To his family, May God continue to watch over and protect you and provide you the strength and courage to carry on.

Uncle Bobby, my earliest memory of you is your big booming voice at Seven Springs every summer. You always greeted everyone with such happiness and big hugs. You will be missed, hug Grams for me. Love you always, Tayhler.

My father was a great humanitarian, he always saw the best in people. He was particularly interested in young people who followed their dreams and reached goals. I looked to him for guidance and he always gave great Godly advice, encouraging me to be courageous and humble. I always felt his love even when he had to discipline me. My daughter Eboni loved him and often sought his Christian advice and encouragement. He loved family gatherings with children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Robert Gadson Sr and I grew up in the same home town of Clairton PA. I remember when he played basketball at Clairton high school. He was the best dance partner....so cool. He was fondly know as Bobby Cugat, Bobby Gat. You couldn't ask for a better brother in love. He had a sense of humor and was a good family man and he loved the Lord. Rest with God Bobby Gat.

In keeping with Dad's type A personality, he made all the plans for his homegoing known to us. We are just following orders that were written down. A man doesn't live 86 years without a plan. That's just one thing I will take from this inevitable event. Let your family know how you feel and leave a will. We will sing his favorite songs, hear his favorite scriptures, all at his home church. He was a man of God and I loved this about him. I'm gonna miss everything about him. His fun, his cool, his reciting the bard, how he drove, how we learned to drive like him, his love for Family. If he ever bragged about me to you, trust that he bragged to me about you.

My dad was the best provider, teacher, and comforter that a girl could have. And when I was out of line, he became the best lecturer. I will miss him coming through the door, always smiling, with groceries and some kind of gift for someone in the house. He gave generously from his heart. My dad was larger than life.

My Dad was a great and godly man. He was a righteous man and was rewarded with 86+ years. He was a disciplinarian when necessary and very loving. He always guided in the right direction. My dad showed me the strong work ethic. He was a provider and he only liked the Best. We lived good. I hear his voice about right and wrong. If I could be half the man he was that would be fine by me. I miss his presence however I always hear his voice in all things and I smile. Robert Gadson Jr. his son.
