Obituary of Charles Brown

Charlie was a long-time resident of Fairfield Township in Gouldtown New Jersey. He dedicated many years to serving at St. Augustine AME Zion Church in Bridgeton NJ, where he was known for his commitment to serving the Lord. He loved yard work, building, and fixing things. Charlie is survived by his daughter, Sandra C. Brown; his sister, Thelayon Howard of Mizpa, New Jersey; and his brother, Thomas Brown of Vineland, New Jersey. Additionally, Charlie is remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Preceding him in death are his mother, Sara Mae Sacks Brown; father, Albert Brown; and four sisters: Rosalie Thomas, Eliza Moore, Anna Lee Everett, Willie Brown & Roy Brown. He is also predeceased by two sons, Gregory Brown and Ricky Brown. Charlie, a private and reserved individual, will be laid to rest in a small graveside memorial service at Cedar Hill Cemetery on Thursday at noon in casual attire.
