It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mother Clara Mae Harris. Born on March 2, 1935, and peacefully departed this world on June 7, 2024, in Vineland, New Jersey. Clara was the beloved daughter of James Jewitt and Louise E Burton

Clara was the beloved wife of James H Harris, with whom she shared many years of happiness. They were married for 35 years.

Clara was blessed 10 children: she was preceded in death John, Reginia, LeeAnn, and Giavonna. Her endless love will forever be with Gaylord,Kevin, Rick,Velvet ( Lawerence)Anderson , Clifton, and her baby boy Keith.

Clara attended Millville High School and later continued her studies at Bible Institute. She dedicated many years to the hospitality industry, ultimately retiring after 45 years of service . Clara was also actively involved in the Church. She was a long time member at Mt Pisgah Methodist Church of Vineland NJ. There she helped organize many church retreats and activities, where she used her passion for spreading the Gospel to help others learn and love the Lord. In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling near and far to enjoy Crab Fest!

Clara's passion for life was contagious. She embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy, always finding beauty and inspiration in the simplest of things. Her love for her family knew no bounds, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.

Clara was truly the Lords most good and faithful servant. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
