Obituary of Savorda Fisher

Savorda C Fisher was born on October 12, 1942 in Nash County, North Carolina. She was one of four children .Savorda was predeceased in by her parents Edward Lewis Sr (father) and Carrie Lewis (mother) Savorda grew up in Nash County North Carolina where attended school and completed and graduated high school. She continued her education at Fayetteville State University with a Bachelors Degree in Education. Her passion was always to lovingly help others as proved by her 30 years of work as a Social worker/Case Manager for the Board of Social Service, Camden,NJ. Savorda loved the Lord and excepted Christ and was baptized and attended church with her family in North Carolina and later moving to New Jersey she attended church and joined Bethany Baptist Church. She took great pride in serving and loving her family with that great love of God. Savorda was married and had a son, Jan C Fisher Jr. She also reared her Nephew/Son, Dwayne Lewis and her Adopted daughter, Evelyn Harmen Fisher. Savorda grandchildren are Jannette Fisher, Tanesha Lewis and Lameah Laramore. Savorda leaves to cherish her love ,her teaching and her dedication and devotion for her family and all that she called friends; Jan C.Fisher Jr.-son (Lynnette),Dwayne Lewis-nephew son (Michelle) Evelyn Harmen Fisher-Adopted daughter.Mccullen Lewis-brother (Gertrude) Carolyn Peterson-sister (RONALD Peterson) brother in law and Edward Lewis Jr. -brother, both preceded her in death. Four grandchildren,Jannette Fisher, Tanesha Lewis and Lameah Laramore, nieces, so many special friends and co-workers, and a host of relatives. Lovingly submitted by the Fisher and Lewis family.
