I remember Cleophus from my time in the Navy on USS SELLERS DDG-11. I was in operations and he was in engineering. He was the original Gentle Giant with arms like tree trunks. I am very sorry for your loss. He was a GOOD man and FINE Shipmate!
May God continue to hold you close until you meet again.

Rev 21:1-4. This scripture that was written by Jehovah gives us a hope that our loved ones will have a chance of a resurrection to where death will be gone forever. Uncle Clee as I called him was a very loving and always cheerful man. I never saw him without a smile. He treated me with love and kindness when it was needed. To his children and family please know he left a legacy that will be remembered. With all my love and memories of a cherished man. You will be missed but always remembered.

My name is Mark Winn and Yvonne Johnson is my 1st cousin on my mother's side. Our mother's were sisters. Although I was not blood related to Clee I always considered him my cousin. And I always called him either Clee or cousin Clee. I first met Clee in 1982 when I reconnected with my mother's side of the family back east. I was born in Camden but raised in California. Clee as I will always say and remember him; was always one of the most big hearted, loving, gregarious, generous, and kind people I have ever met in my life. His heart and his laugh and personality were just so great and magnificent you could not help but feel good just in his presence. I am indeed saddened by his loss. But I am thankful that my wife, Kerry, was able to meet him and fellowship with him a few yrs ago. They don't make them like Clee anymore as my brother Gene Catlett would say affectionately. Clee, my brother, sorry I cannot make the funeral back east, But I will miss you my brother, and you really have touched the lives of so many people. With blessings, cousin, Mark Winn, in Los Angeles.

If you knew him, you loved him.
If you met him once, you never forgot him.
If you missed the chance to hear his famous, "HELLOOOO" greeting and warm smile..you missed one of the good guys.
The peace in my soul from a lifetime of love, drowns out the sadness in my heart.
Your Grateful, Loving Son - Art
