Joseph Louis Ingram was the son of the late Harold Clayton Ingram and Lois Stanford Ingram of Millsboro, Delaware. He was born March 20, 1941 in Smyrna, Delaware. He was an only child and entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. He was educated in the Sussex County Public School System of Delaware where he was a 1959 graduate of William C. Jason High School of Georgetown, Delaware and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from Wilberforce University in Wilberforce, Ohio in 1963. He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. On March 27, 1967 he was united in marriage to Emogene Marie Green. To this union was born a daughter, Donyale Delores Ingram, and a son Harold Clayton Ingram II. Joseph worked as an Elementary School Teacher for the Deptford Board of Education, Deptford, New Jersey from 1966 until his retirement in 1996. He received the teacher of the Year Award from Oak Valley Elementary School and received a Certificate of Recognition for being an outstanding teacher in New Jersey public schools from Governor Christine T. Whitman in 1995. He also received a Service to Education Award in 1996 in recognition of 30 years of outstanding and dedicated service to the youth of Deptford Township as an Elementary School Teacher. Joseph accepted Jesus Christ as a teenager and rededicated his life and was Spirit-filled in February of 1977 at Faith Holy Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC) Camden, New Jersey under the leadership of the late Elder Nathaniel Neal. He joined Mount Carmel COGIC, Berlin, New Jersey in 1979 under the leadership of the late Elder Elijah Reid, and worked in the following ministries: The Boy’s League, served as Assistant Sunday School Superintendent, a Sunday School Teacher, visited the elderly on a regular basis, and was in charge of the Bus Ministry. He was called to preach in 1983 and licensed in 1984 at Holy Temple COGIC in Toms River, New Jersey under the leadership of Pastor David Graham. In 1986, he founded with his wife, Restoration Christian Fellowship Church (RCFC), a Non-Denominational Full-Gospel Church in Sicklerville, New Jersey and hosted a weekly radio broadcast Time of Restoration Ministries on radio station WTMR. In 1989, he was ordained with the International Ministerial Fellowship of Jameson Evangelistic Association of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania under the leadership of the late Dr. Howard O. Jameson. A Doctor of Divinity Degree was conferred upon him from Jameson Christian College, Caguas, Puerto Rico in 1990. In May 2002 Joseph L. Ingram became the Overseer of RCFC with his wife Emogene M. Ingram being elevated and installed as Senior Pastor and Kenneth Jones as Assistant Pastor. Overseer Joseph Ingram worked extensively in outreach including visiting hospitals, prisons, feeding the homeless, and in personal evangelism. He along with his wife founded Restoration Community Development Corporation in 2002, that sponsored Little Restorer's Learning Center (LRLC) from 2005 to 2018. In 2018 LRLC was re-sponsored by RCFC. In addition to his ministerial duties, Overseer Joseph Ingram founded the Pastor’s Prayer Alliance of Winslow Township under the mayorship of Sue Messner and served as a member of the Mayor’s Pastor’s Roundtable Committee. In January 2015 he founded an Integrated Men's Fellowship, where he ministered to all races of men by building them up to become prophets, priests and kings of their homes. He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving devoted wife of 53 years Emogene Ingram, two sons Preston Hovington, and Harold (Alkeena) Ingram, and one daughter Donyale (David) Henderson; a loving grandfather of nine: Tanisha (Adam), Gabrielle , Kenneth Jr., Destanie, Alkeena, Ciarra, Harold Isaiah, Xzandria , and Jada; a great grandfather of five: Gabriel, Andre’, Josiah, Koda, and Jaydah; a spiritual son Kenneth (Erica) Jones Sr.; a host of relatives, friends and the Restoration Christian Fellowship Church Family.
