Michael was the first person to be friendly and kind when I started working at Lourdes. Though we work in different departments, my Michael is everywhere..every floor all the time and we'd see each other constantly. If Michael liked you, you knew it. He always had of way of showing he cared. I remember I got sick in 2019.. when I finally came back to work.. Michael literally yelled down the hall way "Yo Ash! Where the heck have you been? I heard you were sick and I was so worried. You're my people and I was worried something bad happened. You gotta check in with me young lady when you're back". I hugged him and said YES SIR! Mike and I would talk about everything, no subject was off limits. Hardest worker I've ever seen. Thats NO exaggeration. I know Michael is with the Lord. But my gosh I am thankful to have known him and been friends with him for these mere 2+ years. His friendship has changed my life. I'm gonna miss conversations when he'd share something and say "I cant believe I trust you enough to tell you THAT." And we'd laugh. He was so quick witted and ornery ...which is why I adored him. I never knew what he was going to say. Mike was such a blessing. Until the very end, my friend.
