Obituary of Michael J Brown

Michael J. Brown was born October 29, 1964 and departed this life on August 3, 2021. He was born in Camden, NJ to the late Annabelle Brown. Michael was preceded in death by two brothers Kevin and Derek. He attended the Camden City School system graduating from Camden High School in 1984. Michael held his alma mater, the purple and the gold, highly and would sing the class song proudly. Michael began working at Rutger University in 1987. Because of his outgoing personality, Michael became acquainted with many people. From this he became Uncle Mike to many of the students that attended Rutgers. After 20 years of service, he retired from Rutgers in 2007. Because of his love for serving others, Michael returned to the workforce in 2019. He was employed by Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as an environmental specialist until health issues caused him to take a leave of absence. During his stay as a patient at Lourdes, Michael would get excited when one of his co-workers would come to see him. Michael will be truly missed by his family and friends. Everyone that knew him has a special Michael Brown moment. Michael leaves to cherish his memory his children: Ashley (Tyesha), Michael, Mylez, and Taron; 9 grandchildren: Dyhmer, Breanna, Dyanne, Shayla, John Michael, Arianna, Lailah, Maxwell, and Julian; Three sisters: Carma, Sherrie, and Frances (Donald); One brother Austin; Five Nieces: Sheralda, Qiana, Tiphinnie, Jasmine, and Ayricca; Six Nephews: Rahfeek, Aaron, Craig, Cori, Isaiah, and Tashad and a host of adopted nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
