I am so sorry to hear of Khalilah's passing... we went to elementary school together and while we only kept in touch through FB as adults, I have fond memories and remember her passion for ballet. I have always been impressed with her grace and smile. Rest easy, Khalilah. Sending love to her daugher & family. Alyson W

A friend is always there even in the darkest of times. Khalilah was an awesome friend who I had been reintroduced to years ago. She protected me from bullies back when I was in kindergarden and her in fifth grade. Not used to seeing a kindergardener as the only student in her grade at lunch a bunch of older kids not sure which grade group started picking on me. Here this taller older girl comes to shield tiny scrawny me and defends me. She took my captain planet lunch box..held out her hand and said hi I'm khalilah you can sit with me and my friends and for a whole year I was protected by an older sister figure and her friends with cheers and smiles. Reuniting with her years ago was awesome and it was great having a friend like her again when I needed her most. Rest well in heaven big sister. Lots of love always.... little Amanda

I will forever miss my dear cousin Khalilah. We would always have such fun when the family got together, mainly on Thanksgiving day. Just laughing, eating, and catching up on one another lives. Now Khailiah you around God’s throne praising the Lord night and day! I will see you again one day my beautiful cousin around the Lord's throne!

My heart is absolutely broken. I love you so much. You were the best cousin I could ask for. I have so many memories of you doing my makeup when I was a kid. Of you waiting all night at the hospital with me when I got hurt in Myrtle Beach. You were always so kind and gentle. Life was cruel at times. I truly hope that you are at peace.
