Mrs. Thomas was a ray of sunshine. I met Mrs. Thomas later in her life. My friend was in a rehabilitation center with her. She always had a joke, smile and encouragement for him, despite her own medical conditions. She actually made his days great with her wonderful, loving personality. She was truly one of a kind. A true lady of Christ. Uplifting others when they really needed it. I only knew her a short time but it was obvious to all what her purpose was in this stage of her life. What a gem. I will always remember her infectious laugh and kindness to others.

Sis. Florence was such a beautiful and lovely woman. She will truly be missed. I was truly blessed and inspired by the knowledge she shared with me. May God continue to bless and strengthen the family as the days go by. Remember that joy will come in the morning. God bless.

Sister Florence Rose was a "GIANT PILLAR" amongst the brothers, and sisters in the Prince Hall family of NJ.
When she attended the Brother's Grand Session on a visitation with the Eastern Stars, you could hear the brothers saying, Sister Florence Rose is here, because she knew everyone by their name. She gave sisterly love to everyone, and made you feel good about being a Mason and Eastern Star. We are going to miss our "Fraternity Hall of Famer."

My condolences to the family of Mrs. Florence Thomas. Growing up remember her kindness and love of her community and her dedication to her beloved children and her husband, Tommy Sr. We will miss her pleasant voice of wisdom and courage. As she always encouraged us to follow our dreams and to get a good education. A remarkable Christian woman. Sending this on behalf of the Eva and Thomas Edward Brown Family.
